Celebrating Our Volunteers

By Katie Putnam, Gracewell Life Enrichment Director

National Volunteer Week, April 19th – 25th, is a time to honor the incredible impact of volunteers—people who use their time, talent, and compassion to strengthen communities, tackle challenges, and transform lives.

At Eventide Senior Living, we take this opportunity each year to shine a light on the extraordinary individuals who inspire us through service. Words alone cannot capture our gratitude for the amazing volunteers who bring joy, comfort, and connection to our residents and staff.

Whether it is offering a warm hand to hold, sharing a friendly conversation, assisting with games, playing a favorite song, or simply greeting someone with a smile at the front door, every act of kindness makes a meaningful difference. Our volunteers dedicate precious hours, despite their busy lives, to enhance the wellbeing and happiness of others, showing remarkable character, compassion, and commitment.

To all our volunteers—thank you!

Your presence makes Eventide a brighter, warmer, and more loving place to live and work. We truly could not do what we do without you.

We are always looking for volunteers to help on an ongoing basis or for special events. If you or your group would like to be added to our list of volunteers we can reach out to Katie Putnam, Gracewell Life Enrichment Director, at (712) 263-3114, ext. 239 or Kim Korwes, Silveridge Tenant Relations Coordinator at (712) 263-2639, ext. 219. Your time and heart can make a difference too!
