COVID-19 Notification 8.26.20

Wednesday, Augsut 26, 2020

An Eventide staff member has tested positive with COVID-19 after being exposed in the public. The staff member has not had direct contact with residents and was asymptomatic while at work over a week ago. Consistent with IDPH guidelines, the staff member is in self-isolation at home, and will not return to work until they have completed the recommended isolation in accordance with public health guidance.

Protecting the health and wellbeing of our residents, and that of our staff, remain our highest priority. We are following public health recommendations to help protect our residents’ and community’s exposure to this virus.

We appreciate your help in containing this virus by doing your part as well. Positive cases in Crawford County are currently up to 803 with a 15% positivity rate over the last 14 days. Please continue to observe appropriate infection control practices:

 Wash your hands;

 Cover your cough and sneezes;

 Maintain an appropriate social distance of at least six (6) feet;

 Wear a facemask as directed;

 If you are ill or feeling under the weather, please stay home.

As always, thank you for understanding the importance of taking safety measures during this unprecedented time and situation.
