Through routine COVID-19 testing, we have determined one positive team member in the nursing facility. Only compassionate care visits are allowed within the facility until the first round of testing staff and residents in the nursing facility is complete. We expect the first round of testing to take a couple of days. There will only be compassionate care visits on Legacy Center for the next 14 days.
Assuming no more positive tests are revealed with the first round of testing, all other areas of the nursing facility will go back to normal visits at that time. Compassionate care visits are determined on a one-to-one basis which may include new admissions and those on Hospice level of care. Please know that we are taking all actions we can to prevent the risk of further transmission of COVID-19. All of our team members are wearing proper PPE. We continue screening all who enter the facility, cleaning and disinfecting frequently, utilizing telehealth, educating team members etc.
